Brief Biography of Adam
Adam has taken a personal interest in computer technology from a young age. Before most people had personal
computers in their homes, he was already entertaining himself with programs he had taught himself to write.
Acting on his natural affinity for computers, Adam continued to take computer classes in high school and at
university beyond the required curriculum. Furthermore, he picked up new skills as his interests grew and
changed, often teaching himself new programming languages and technologies to solve the problem at hand. In
his endeavors, Adam keeps in mind the unlimited capacity for human learning, allowing him to continually add to his
own body of knowledge and skills.
Currently, Adam is an Environmental Engineer working for the City of Dallas. He earned his bachelor's degree in
Civil and Environmental Engineering at Duke University and has since spent time in various fields trying to learn
as much as he can about life's potentials. His experiences have included:
- Solid waste management for the City of Dallas (9th largest landfill in the U. S.)
- Professional soccer player
- Independent consultant for a multi-national oil company
- Teacher of high school mathematics and tutor at all levels
- Lift operator at a major northeastern ski resort
